Every year the world famous Cirque du Soleil makes its pilgrimage to the Royal Albert Hall to dazzle audiences with spectacular stunts, amazing prowess and humorous stories, with theatregoers flocking from all over the capital to relish in the sights and sounds.
So it is in 2019 that Cirque du Soleil brings Totem to the venue, exploring humanity and its myths through some memorable and spectacular gymnastics, unicycle stunts, trapeze artists and more. For fans of the international circus company, this will not be a show to miss when it lands at the world famous Royal Albert Hall in January.
Totem was first seen in Montreal in 2010 and is one of many high profile shows that have been seen around the world. It was previously staged at the Albert Hall in 2011 and has proven popular enough to return once again.
Over the years, Cirque du Soleil has also headed to the Royal Albert Hall with Ovo in 2018, Amaluna in 2017 and 2016, plus Dralion, Quidam, Alegria, Verkai and Kooza, amongst various others. Such productions have ensured that the Royal Albert Hall is the best place to experience circus theatrics in the early parts of the year.
And with Totem they delve into the myths and legends and myths that have shaped humanity throughout its history, exploring the scientific world and the spiritual and taking theatregoers on an awe-inspiring journey.
Cirque du Soleil returns to the Royal Albert Hall with the magnificent Totem, with performances beginning on Saturday 12th January 2019 and continuing until February.
